Learning outcomes

When conducting research, one often encounters various agreements that need to be made before, for example, gaining access to the necessary materials or data or when wanting to publish the research results in a scientific journal. Funding entities for research projects also require that participating organizations enter into collaboration agreements. Agreements are also necessary when negotiating with companies and handling confidential information. The goal of the course is to learn why agreements are necessary, what types of agreements are used, what obligations agreements impose on the researcher's work, and what the key elements of agreements are.

Additional information

The course is held in English once a year in the fall.
