Description

What it is good for teachers, students and researchers to know about copyright, the use of works in teaching and research, intellectual property rights in university agreements.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student gets an overview of copyright * What is protected by copyright? * Who owns the copyrighted works? * How can copyrighted works be used? When is a permit required? * What is allowed by copyright law? * How should a teacher and researcher consider copyright in their own work? * What rights does the student have, for example, for his / her assignments?

Additional information

The course is intended for students, researchers and teachers who produce and use copyrighted works in their own work, studies or leisure. The course will be arranged in Finnish in April and in English in November.
