Description
Effects of exercise on brain structure and function, cognition and learning in childhood and adolescence. Neurobiological mechanisms of exercise. The importance of exercise in the prevention and treatment of memory disorders in the elderly.

Learning outcomes:
After completing the cource, the student will be able to describe effects of exercise on and cognition in childhood and adolescence. In addition, the student can describe the neurobiological mechanisms of exercise in learning. The student knows pathophysiology of degenerative memory disorders and the role of physical activity in prevention memory disorders.
