This course is offered through the Network for Doctoral Studies. These studies are available for doctoral degree students studying in the University of Jyväskylä.
Description
The developing process of the complex intervention. Evaluation of the interventions. The statistical fundamentals of the intervention research. Reporting of the intervention studies and evaluating its validity.
Learning outcomes
After completion of the course, a student will be able to:
- explain the meaning of developing complex interventions
- describe and evaluate the process of complex intervention development (i.e. planning, feasibility/piloting, evaluation, and implementation)
- evaluate critically complex interventions, and to assess the external and internal validity of intervention studies
- develop multidisciplinary and multi-professional solutions to global challenges, combining expertise from different fields in an innovative way
