Description
This course focuses on getting familiar with multilingual and intercultural communication as well as practicing skills needed in university studies.
Main contents of the course
- practicing multilingual interaction
- utilizing language resources as part of group communication
- accommodating communication in intercultural communication
- getting familiar with academic study skills
Learning outcomes
On completion of the course, the student is expected to
understand the basics of multilingualism and interculturality
recognize and activate their own multilingual repertoire
know how to utilize study skills needed in academic contexts
adjust their communication according to the context
know how to give and receive constructive feedback to support learning.
