This course focuses on getting familiar with multilingual and intercultural communication as well as practicing skills needed in university studies.

  • practicing multilingual interaction
  • utilizing language resources as part of group communication 
  • accommodating communication in intercultural communication
  • getting familiar with academic study skills

Learning outcomes

On completion of the course, the student is expected to​

  • understand the basics of multilingualism and interculturality

  • recognize and activate their own multilingual repertoire

  • know how to utilize study skills needed in academic contexts

  • adjust their communication according to the context​

  • know how to give and receive constructive feedback to support learning.​
