Description
How to conduct and design reliable and replicable research and manage research projects. Topics in the course cover both theoretical and practical issues related to conducting cognitive neuroscience research. These include research project management, planning the research and experimental designs, good research practices including replicable and reliable science, ethical issues, data management and open science.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student knows how to create experimental designs, how to plan, conduct and manage a cognitive neuroscience research project.

Assessment criteria: assignments are assessed on the basis of how the doctoral student masters the contents of the study unit and achieves the learning outcomes of the study unit. A pass requires that the assignments must be completed successfully.
