Learning outcomes

Computer Science specialisation concentrates to build solid, advanced level skills and knowledge on Computer Science methods and new technologies related to high-performance computing like parallel and distributed computing and programming, data mining, and artificial intelligence. The multidisciplinary studies help understanding the scientific background and the scientific problems as well as the data structures and their origins in fields of Computational Chemistry and Computational Physics. This combination creates a strong basis for problem solving and professional development of computational methods that efficiently utilize the strengths of high-performance computing in the mentioned fields. The role and possiblities of cutting-edge new technologies like quantum computing are also covered.
