At the Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics you can complete the degree of Doctor of Science (Economics and Business Administration) in economics.

JSBE takes part in two national graduate programmes: FDPE (Finnish Doctoral Programme in Economics), and GSF (Graduate School in Finance). Central courses in micro, macro, and econometrics are provided by FDPE. Financial courses are provided by GSF. Studies also include field courses and research seminars.
Learning outcomes
GOAL 1 JSBE doctoral graduates have in-depth understanding of their field of research and its societal significance.
GOAL 2 JSBE doctoral graduates can independently design and conduct original research.
GOAL 3 JSBE doctoral graduates have effective and competent written and oral communication skills in their area of expertise and field of research.
