Description
Course description
In the course, students study each other's mother tongues or the languages of their education, and culture. Additionally, in this tandem learning program, pairs support each other's learning in joint sessions.
The main contents of the course:
- defining own starting level of language skills and setting own goals
- regular language learning meetings with a partner
- using different materials and methods for language learning
- reporting on the meetings and reflecting on learning

On completion of the course, the student is expected to
- know how to set objectives for their own learning, considering their level of linguistic competence
- know how to learn different languages in a self-directed way with a partner using different learning methods and materials
- have developed skills in reflecting on their own learning.
Additional information
Starting the Each One Teach One programme requires a study pair, acceptance of the study plan and attendance at a meeting with an EOTO supervisor. The programme can be completed only 2 times in the same language.

To pass the study unit, the student is expected to participate in the meetings with an EOTO supervisor, meet regularly with their partner, prepare for the meetings, report on the meetings according to the instructions given, reflect on their learning.
