WISA2020 Sustainability agent training (3–5 cr)
Description
Sustainability agent training combines theoretical knowledge of practical sustainability work internship. The course starts with a theoretical part, where students will be introduced to the main topics of corporate sustainability (responsible business and its development, impact identification, carbon footprint calculation, waste management and circular economy, social sustainability) and will learn about the tasks of a sustainability agent and how to carry them out during an internship. The aim of the internship is not so much to learn from the internship, but to take sustainability knowledge and skills to the organization, while gaining work experience. During the internship, the student will carry out tasks agreed with the placement, which may be a broader corporate responsibility development or a more specific topic (e.g. carbon footprint calculation or sustainability communication).
The course is available through EduFutura's cross-study programme and is delivered by Gradia. Students enrol through EduFutura. The training is organised and supervised by Gradia. The achievement will be recorded in Gradia's register and course at JYU is finished with this record and written training report submitted in Moodle.
