key aspects of children’s social-emotional development; support of social-emotional development in early childhood education; social-emotional well-being; socially sustainable development and social-emotional learning, deepening theoretical and practical expertise regarding one area of children’s social-emotional development and well-being

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the course the student is able to

  • know the main principles of children’s social-emotional development and its support
  • understand the key concepts regarding children’s social-emotional development and well-being
  • evaluate the significance of children’s social-emotional development from the perspectives of children’s well-being and social sustainability
  • deepen expertise regarding one area of children’s social-emotional development and well-being
