The course introduces the long-term planning and specific needs of the coaching process.

Description

Students develop their understanding of coaching organizations, physical fitness testing, and performance measures and acquire an in-depth comprehension of sports performance analysis, training programming and periodization.

  • Sport and coaching organizations

  • Elite-level performance analysis or principles of coaching for a specific group

  • Long-term programming and specific issues in coaching

  • Coaching support measures 

Learning outcomes

By the end of this course, the student should be able to:

  • analyze individual needs in the implementation of coaching

  • create a sports analysis based on existing coaching literature and research evidence

  • create long-term training plans, considering the different aspects of training
