This course introduces the basic concepts of cyber security in the digi-tal society, organizations, and information systems.

Description

This course introduces the basic concepts of cyber security. It will cover the role of cyber security in the digital society, organizations, and information systems. The course introduces a wide range of cyber security related issues that can be useful for anyone working with IT.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the students understand what role cyber security plays in the society, workplace and information technology. They will know of how cyber security incidents can disrupt operations and cause damage to information assets. They will also learn some basic principles of cyber hygiene and how they can maintain cyber security in their work and private lives.
