TILA370 Bachelor's Seminar (3 cr)

During the seminar students will analyze data from applied fields using methods learned bachelor studies. The data come from real reserach projects. the results will be presented in seminar talk and after that they will be reported in Bachelor thesis. A maturity will be written on the thesis.

A student who has successfully completed the course is able to:

• discuss with researchers from other fields about their reserach questions,
  
• choose methods suitable for empirical and, if necessary, use literature to find more information on methods,
  
• apply methods to empirical data and interpret the results,
  
• present the results in a seminar talk and write a proper report on the analysis.

Generalized linear models 1 and 2, good knowledge of R software, Mixed models and longitudinal analysis and/or Multivariate methods are highly recommendable.
