Description
The course is based on elaboration of method literature in small groups (weekly reading circles to reflect the readings).
To complete the course you have to participate to six reading circles, contribute to their reporting and submit six individual evaluations of MSc theses utilizing the discussed methods.
Learning outcomes
Opintojakson hyväksytysti suoritettuaan opiskelija 1) tietää tietotekniikan tutkimusmetodiikan keskeiset osa-alueet, 2) ymmärtää tieteellisen toiminnan perusteet ja tutkimusmetodien merkityksen osana alan tutkimusprosesseja sekä 3) tiedostaa eettisesti kestävän tutkimuksen perusperiaatteet. Opintojakso antaa hyvät valmiudet pro gradu -tutkielman tekemiselle.
