Learning outcomes

On this course, we will study what various subfields of computer science look like, what their research focuses on, and what their most prominent practical applications are. The goal of this course is not to make you into an expert in any of these subfields, but rather to give you an idea of the content of your future studies, and to subject you to new ideas that you might not encounter anywhere else. On the side, this course also offers you an excellent excuse to develop your learning skills and to get to know your peers.
