Contents
The aim of the course is to help and speed up the completion of postgraduate studies. In addition, the purpose of the seminar is to help in conducting scientific research in your field and to bring new and current perspectives to conducting research.
Teaching methods
The seminar consists of presentations by postgraduates on their own research topics, other presentations on issues related to postgraduate studies, presentation of the research conducted at the division and possible presentations by visiting researchers on current topics. The seminar also informs postgraduate students about current issues related to doctoral studies.
Completion of the course
The student participates at least 12 times in the course meetings and gives at least two presentations on his her own area of research (describing the progress of the research) and participates in at least three dissertations (defence events) and makes notes of them (1/2-1 page).

The aim of the course is to help and speed up the completion of postgraduate studies. In addition, the purpose of the seminar is to help in conducting scientific research in your field and to bring new and current perspectives to conducting research.
Additional information
Research field-specific seminar. The focus is in research communication skills. The seminar includes basics of research ethics.
The seminar is intended to doctoral students whose specialisation is Software and Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, or Computational Science.
