Description

This course provides the foundations of Quantum Computing for computer scientists at the graduate level. It covers the necessary background in Quantum Mechanics for non-physicists, the definitions of computing using qubits and quantum gates, and it then elaborates on several basic quantum algorithms. 

Learning outcomes

By the end of this course, students will have gained a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts and principles of Quantum Computing. Also, they will be able to address certain computational problems using quantum algorithms.
