Description of prerequisites
It would be good to have outlined the topic of the Master's thesis before attending the course, in order to be of the highest utility to the student.
Besides students of art history and art education, also students working on culture and cultural environment or visual materials are welcome, especially if they want to reflect upon theory and its significance in their study and learn to relate their own topic, from different points of view, to a broader context.

Study materials
During the course, the student will become acquainted with applicable literature for the theoretical frame of her/his Master's thesis, and she/he selects the literature for the assignment. The literature for the assignment can vary according to objectives, difficulty and language (on average of 3 monographs, 15 articles, or 400-500 pages; one monograph is equal to 4-5 articles). The student and the teacher will agree on the final quality and the amount of reading for the assignment during the course.
