Seminar for presenting parts of doctoral research.

Description

The course consists of a presentation and discussion of scientific papers. These papers follow the structure of typical scientific articles, i.e., they include a brief and precise contextualization of the research question within the existing scientific literature and a motivation, a justification, and presentation of the methodological approach (also concerning methodologically comparable scientific works), as well as a focused presentation of the central results.

Learning outcomes

After successfully completing the course, students will know which steps are necessary to create a scientific article presenting the dissertation's new (theoretical and/or empirical) findings (closing the identified research gap). Students will also have the necessary knowledge to carry out these steps independently.

Additional information
