Description
The course provides the students with basic knowledge of qualitative research methodology, the skills to collect research data, and to conduct scientific research. The course provides knowledge and skills to design and implement a small-scale research and to evaluate the quality of scientific research.
Learning outcomes
After this course, you will be able to:
- Understand the nature of scientific knowledge and the main paradigms of science
- Identify differences of qualitative inquiry frameworks
- Understand and apply basics of qualitative research designs
- Generate a research plan and conduct data collection by applying qualitative research methodologies
- Understand the basics of qualitative data analysis, interpretation, and reporting
- Reflect ethical issues in research
- Assess the quality of research
