Description
Theoretical background and practical implications in event management. Planning, organizing, implementing and participating in given tasks or areas in a sport event.
Connection of Course Contents to UN Sustainable Development Goals
This course looks in to planning and implementation of sport events in contemporary world situation by paying attention to the Sustainable Development goals such as 3 good health and wellbeing, 4 quality education, 8 decent work and economic growth, 10 reduced inequalities, 13 climate action and 17 partnerships for these goals.
Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this course, student is able to:
- identify the various aspects and tasks in event management
- demonstrate an ability to plan, organize, implement and evaluate a sports event
- demonstrate an ability to work as a member of an international project group.
Additional information
Seminar 12 hours, group work, writing assignments, a book exam. Planning, carrying out and evaluating an event tasks.
