Content
To familiarise the students with essential developmental processes, developmental psychology theories and concepts at the various stages of the human life-span.
Completion methods
Book examination, no contact hours in English. The lectures are held in Finnish.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to master the main developmental features in different age groups, the central theories and concepts in developmental psychology and main issues in developmental psychology research, and different developmental processes in each stages of the human life-span.

Description:
Tällä kurssilla on kaksi toteutustapaa. Ensimmäinen toteutustapa on vain psykologian tutkinto-ohjelmien opiskelijoille (ent. pääaineopiskelijoille). Opintojakso suoritetaan yhteisen aikataulun mukaisesti. Opintojakson oppimateriaalit opiskellaan itsenäisesti ja opittua työstetään ja soveltamista harjoitellaan lähiopettajatapaamisissa ja haastattelu-/havainnointi- ja kirjallisten tehtävien avulla. Toinen suoritustapa on tarkoitettu muille kuin psykologia tutkinto-ohjelmien opiskelijoille (ent. sivuaineopiskelijoille). Opintojakso suoritetaan itsenäisesti. Opintojakson oppimateriaalit opiskellaan itsenäisesti, opittua työstetään ja soveltamista harjoitellaan kirjallisten tehtävien avulla.
Evaluation criteria:
Opintojakso arvioidaan kurssitehtäviin / tenttiin perustuen asteikolla 0–5.
