The course focuses on the neural basis of human thinking, emotions, actions and experiences

Description

The course examines the neural basis of human activity, thinking, emotions and experiences. In addition, the brain basis of dysfunctions commonly encountered by psychologists and their treatment is examined. The course also introduces assessment of neuropsychological functions and cognitive abilities.  

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student is able to take into account the influence of biological systems affecting behaviour and their disturbances in explaining human behaviour. The student's ability to read and evaluate original research on the subject in English increases.
