Description

The "big ideas" of the nano science are introduced and they will be related to few case studies in nano science. The course contains laboratory works which introduce the basic ideas of nano science. In addition, the research in NSC is introduced in general.

Learning outcomes

After the course, the student 

  • perceives the broadness of nanoscience, and can classify phenomena within nanoscience
  • knows basic details of some experimental devices 
  • can tell about the research topics taking place at NSC and can read an scientific article from nano sciences
  • can present some topics of nanoscience both by spoken as well as written

High-school level knowledge from natural sciences
