Learning outcomes

Course will offer tools and methods for research within the field of multidisciplinary nanoscience. After finishing this course the student

  • understands the dangers and safe operation principles in different kind of laboratories: Chemicals, Biologically dangerous species, lasers, electricity, ...

  • Knows the special properties of the nanomaterials and can take those into account while working on laboratory

  • knows the basic procedures and methods in laboratories

  • understands how lasers work and basics of the clean room techniques, as well as knows how to work in a clean room 

  • knows the statistical analysis and basics of the error estimations

  • can fit a function to collected date using several different software 

  • can write basic scientific reports and knows the involved ethics.
