Participating in actual games research projects
Description
Students can apply to participate in actual games research projects, which are ongoing in the department. The available research tasks differ across projects and their current work packages. Typical research tasks relate to data management (e.g., transcribing or translating gaming interviews) and analysis (e.g., exploring and playing selected games with diary tracking). A thesis (either BA or MA) may sometimes be possible to combine with this work.
Learning outcomes
The student gains experience of working in a research team and managing research data. The language used in the work depends on each project and its tasks
