Completion methods

The credits earned from work cannot be retroactively obtained; only demanding tasks recorded in the postgraduate study plan, after its approval, can produce ECTS. Teaching duties are recognized only once for university teaching courses; teaching for recurring courses is not considered as credit-producing work. Other than university teaching is partially considered for credit points, and it is assessed case-by-case. Concerning research work not related to the dissertation research, it must be noted that the doctoral student's role in the research project is clear, independent, and demanding. Solely performing measurement or analysis tasks or acting as an assistant is not sufficient. Documents regarding the tasks are submitted for registering the credits. Tasks related to development activities need a justification (what tasks, where?), based on which the postgraduate training group can approve the number of ECTS. Work outside the university that qualifies for ECTS must be research-oriented in nature, and only a portion of the 10 credits may be granted if applicable. When accepting credit points from work experience, it should be noted that the workload required for one ECTS is 27 hours.
