Content
The course covers theoretical approaches of self-regulation, empirical evidence on the factors associated with emotion-related phenomena, and self-regulation strategies aimed to enhance athletes’ performance and wellbeing.

Lectures (10 h) and practical sessions (12 h)
Evaluation
Exam (70%), active participation in lectures and assignment (30%)
Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
- identify emotion related terminology and main theoretical frameworks
- understand social and individual factors related to athletes’ experiences
- understand basic principles of the application of self-regulation strategies
