Contents
This course offers a broad perspective in contemporary sport psychology areas and issues covering a wide range of topics that include all levels of involvement from recreational to high level, as well as different age groups and populations.
Mode of Study
Independent reading, group presentations in seminars (13h), and individual assignments.
Evaluation
Group presentations (80%), active participation in seminar and assignment (20 %).
Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
- broadly describe the main theoretical approaches in sport psychology
- critically evaluate most frequently used research paradigms and empirical findings concerning individual and sport team processes
- formulate practical implications of most relevant theories and empirical evidence for coaches, athletes, and those involved in sports
