Description
The course includes 4 Open Science Centre’s researcher trainings.
Information on the contents and schedules of the trainings are available on the Open Science Centre’s training website where you can also check which trainings are part of the course. (Link can change during spring and summer 2024 due to JYU’s web page updates).
Learning outcomes
- Participant is proficient in the practices of academic information seeking, research data management and scientific publishing. They also understand how the different process steps support the research process as a whole, and know how to utilize e.g. responsible open science and research in it.
- From individual trainings there is a possibility to obtain skills for e.g. literature review, concept analysis, publication strategy, research data management plan, opening data and implementing FAIR principles, utilization of method guides, production and utilization of open educational resources and ensuring researcher visibility.
Additional information
Course is recommended for first or second year of your research.
