Description
Open education focuses on learner orientation and learner involvement. By focusing on them, teaching takes into account the diversity of learning, and through openness, the opportunities for further use of education are also expanded.
Open education supports the reflection of one's own teaching, focusing on the questions: How does open education contribute to teaching? What about working with other teachers and learners? How do open education practices relate to pedagogical practices?
The course considers the open education from different perspectives and produces its own open educational resources which provides feedback from other course participants. It is also possible to open educational resources under supervision and practice peer review and mentoring of the open educational resources.
Learning outcomes
The participant knows the basics of open education and recognizes the opportunities associated with it. The course teaches how to utilize and produce open education resources. The participant will gain the skills to utilize open education practices from the perspective of both the teacher and the learner.
