To support the writing of a thesis by deepening research knowledge in your discipline and to gain skills for writing your own thesis.

Description

  • Planning the thesis 

  • Developing research problems

  • Clarification and definition of the concepts

  • Defining the research area, 

  • Finding and assembling of references

  • Presenting literature review and research a plan.


Introduction lectures and seminars about 30 hours.

Active participation in the seminar and seminar tasks.

Learning outcomes

Support the writing of the thesis. 


After completing the course, a student is able to:

• create a scientific research plan in which the topic’s focus, research question and methodology are appropriate
• arrange sources/citations and background knowledge clearly and logically in a review of literature
• present and defend his/her own research plan
• integrate principles of research ethics to his/her own research plan

• give critical and constructive feedback on others' plans

Description of prerequisites

Bachelor degree and major in Exercise Physiology.

Description:
Active participation in seminars (30 hours). Literature review writing and presenting. Acting as an opponent for another student.
Evaluation criteria:
Acceptance of all completed tasks. Graded pss/fail.
