Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the course, the student is able to

  • Use laboratory methods to determine aerobic and anaerobic responses to various exercise testing protocols

  • Describe principles of energy expenditure during physical activity

  • Explain physiological responses to exercise test and adaptation to exercise training
