The course is theme-based, and each week we will cover a different theme, such as, cyber-bullying, cyber-disinformation, cyber-scamming, etc. Students will be expected to attend/watch lectures, undertake the assignments, and read from the key texts recommended for the course. It is a non-technical course.

The course will include the following themes:

  • cyber-crime and scams (e.g., phishing scams, spoofing, romance scammer, ransomware attacks)
  • cyber-bullying/cyber-harassment
