KUMA034 Understanding and Developing UNESCO World Heritage Site (5 cr)
Description
The purpose of the course is to create an understanding about the UNESCO World Heritage concept and its international goals. The students will join in the development of local UNESCO sites in multidisciplinary groups.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will:
Understand the UNESCO World Heritage concept and its international nature, its international goals and local importance
Have learned about the development of local UNESCO sites and its influence on local communities and stakeholders

The course is planned and implemented in co-operation between Jamk University of Applied Sciences, University of Jyväskylä and Humak University of Applied Sciences.
