Description

The course focuses on the theories relevant to the use and development of educational technology. The material consists of a selection of research articles and literature. An introduction to this material will be established through introduction lectures, after which each student will focus on the theories and source materials relevant to their own research topic. These will be the subject of a separate report, which will be shared and presented with the other participating postgraduate students.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, students will have a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical foundations of educational technology, especially in relation to their own research topic. Students will be able to analyse and structure the theoretical background of their own research topic and to integrate theoretical perspectives and empirical research. They will be able to formulate theoretical and conceptual arguments and put them into a presentable and analysable form.

Organised every second spring semester; spring semesters 2025 and 2027.

The course requires participation in online lectures and the preparation and submission of a report.
