Learning outcomes

Doctoral students:

  • Acquire hands-on experience in teaching, encompassing both the execution of  lessons and utilisation of diverse teaching and guidance methods. Through teaching, they cultivate a deeper level of reflection on research and teaching.
  • Develop the ability to receive constructive feedback on their teaching, fostering continuous improvement in their instructional skills.
  • Learn how to create posters and/or give scientific presentations related to their research topics. This involves learning how to present complex research findings to experts in the field. Students gain confidence in presenting their research and enhance their communication skills.
  • Learn to articulate competences acquired in working life and align these competences with their teaching roles within the department.
