Kurssilla perehdytään kulttuuriseen tietoon, sen eriaikaiseen rakentumiseen, ideologisuuteen ja moninaisiin tietoarkkitehtuureihin.

Description

This course will familiarise students with the diverse relationship between culture and knowledge, the knowledge architectures in the cultural sector and the significance of knowledge in cultural administration.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student will: 

  • be able to recognise the meanings, nature and impacts of knowledge in cultural policy;

  • understand the information models and knowledge architectures of different systems;

  • know the meaning of data management and ethical data management from the perspective of legislation and expertise;

  • recognise the administrative, practical and ethical challenges related to open, public and non-open data
