JSBY5530 Your Professional Brand (2 cr)

The course assignments focus on identifying your skills comprehensively and presenting them effectively. You will also learn how to build and utilize a professional brand and how to independently search for suitable job opportunities. The course is organized by Suomen Ekonomit in collaboration with the universities.

Throughout the course, you will receive feedback and development suggestions on your crucial job application documents, and you will have the opportunity to discuss and share experiences, ideas, and tips with other participants in the course’s virtual workspace.

Note: The Finnish-language course "JSBY5530 Kylterin asiantuntijabrändi"  will be conducted in Finnish, but you can complete the assignments in Swedish if you prefer. The course is also offered in English (JSBY5530 Your Professional Brand).

After completing the course, you will be able to:

• Identify your own skills comprehensively
• Summarize your strengths in a distinctive way
• Create strong job application documents for the Finnish job market
• Proactively search for information about job opportunities in Finland
• Market and present your skills in the Finnish job market
