For example, refereeing articles, assisting tasks, etc. 1-2 credits per conference.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to
- plan and implement the main aspects of organizing an international conference
- work as part of the organizing committee
- communicate with participants and other stakeholders before, during and after the event
Additional information
To get your credits registered, submit a written report of your conference-related work to your supervisor. The report (1-2 pages) should include the following: which conference was in question, what tasks you did, how much time you estimate you spent on these tasks, when you completed the tasks, which course you are applying the credits for (course name and code). In addition, the report should reflect on what you have learned in relation to the learning outcomes of the course.
The supervisor will submit the information about the performance to the doctoral education coordinator (HelpJYU), who will record the performance in the study register.
