ITKJ3010 Scientific conference presentation I (1–2 cr)

One presentation/poster at an international conference = 2 credits. One presentation/poster at a domestic (national) conference = 1 credit.

After completing the course, the student will be able to

• plan and deliver a presentation or poster at a scientific conference
• communicate his/her research to the scientific community in an understandable way and within the given time frame
• argue clearly and understandably and receive and respond to feedback

To get your credits in the register, please submit the information about your conference presentation after the conference to the doctoral education coordinator (HelpJYU). Please include a link to the website where you can find the conference programme and a certificate of your presentation from the conference organiser, if available. The planner will ask the supervisor and/or the professor in charge of the field of study to validate the performance before it is entered in the register.
