Depending on the choices they make, the doctoral student
- has developed their general and job-specific competences for working life
- has adopted a mentality of continuous development and learning as part of their expertise
- has developed the identification of their own competences and clarified their own professional interests

Modes of completion: courses or equivalent. The course cannot be completed by other modes of completion. Note: The study unit Other Competence to Support the Construction of Professional Expertise can comprise a maximum or 5 ECTS credits.
Assessment criteria: Assignments are assessed on the basis of how the doctoral student masters the contents of the study unit and achieves the learning outcomes of the study unit. A pass requires that the assignments are completed successfully. If there is contact teaching included, active participation in the class and successful completion of any other assignments indicated in the teaching is also required.
