Modes of completion: working in a research project, as agreed by the project leader, so that the project work includes a definite area of responsibility outside of the dissertation. Responsibilities may include, for example, the acquisition and management of research data in accordance with open science principles, the preparation of funding applications and project budgeting, project management and business practices, research contracts and intellectual property rights, or the commercialisation of research results. The research project leader must prepare a written statement of responsibilities. Note: For the Working in a Research Project study unit, you can receive a maximum of 5 ECTS credits.

Assessment criteria: Assignments are assessed on the basis of how the doctoral student masters the contents of the study unit and achieves the learning outcomes of the study unit. A pass requires that the assignments are completed successfully
