Description

The concept of wellbeing has multiple dimensions and significance. The course explores the historical construction of wellbeing in one of its subareas through measurement and/or experience. Standard of living and wealth, education and upbringing, social welfare, and health care are these subareas.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student 

· recognises the fundamentals of wellbeing research and comprehends the variety of conceptualizations of wellbeing

· has a deeper understanding of a particular facet of wellbeing

· recognises the various relationships between wellbeing and shifting social norms, resource distribution, and values
