Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student
  • knows the department's teachers, teaching practices and other teaching assistants
  • can list different teaching and assessment methods and their applicable ways of use, as well as identify good and bad teaching practices
  • is able to show a critical attitude towards common teaching practices, beliefs, and principles related to teaching
  • acknowledges responsibility as a teacher and a teaching developer
  • recognizes own weaknesses and strengths as a teacher and is able to observe, analyze, and develop own teaching.

Additional information

Kurssi on tarkoitettu ensisijaisesti kurssi-, laboratorio- ja kiihdytinassistentteina toimiville opiskelijoille. Soveltuu myös opettajaksi opiskeleville. Kurssin suorittaminen edellyttää kurssin aikaista opetus- tai ohjaustoimintaa.

Description:
Oppimistehtävät sisältävät mm. opetusvierailuja, artikkeleiden lukemista ja opetustilannevideoiden havainnointia analysointeineen.
Evaluation criteria:
Hyväksytty suoritus edellyttää oppimistehtävien tekemistä, osallistumista sovittuihin tapaamisiin ja opetusportfolion laatimista.
