Can derive thermodynamical variables starting from an energy spectrum and partition function
- knows the thermodynamics of cyclic prosesses, such as heat engines, refrigerators, and heat pumps
Knows the connection between statistical physics and thermodynamics
has basic knowledge of the thermodynamics of phase transitions and can read phase diagrams
