After completing the course, the student will be able to

• formulate experimental research questions based on the given information and form testable hypotheses
• based on the research question and hypotheses, prepare a plan to implement the research
• determine testable criteria for accepting or rejecting hypotheses
• assess the suitability and reliability of the planned test arrangements technically and comprehensively
• acquire information to meet future needs as the research progresses (measuring devices, experimental methods, etc.)
• critically evaluate the answer to the research question, the validity of the hypotheses and the significance of the research in a wider context
• limit the content and income angle of the communication according to the target group
• communicate about research in accordance with good scientific practice: communication about the importance of research to the university community, the general public, those applying knowledge, those interested in science or other appropriate target audiences
