- The dose and response of therapeutic exercise and their measurement in relation to body systems, functioning and disability
- Current research on effectiveness of therapeutic exercise
- Study designs and methods for assessing the effectiveness
Learning outcomes
On successful completing of the course the student is able to
- define the scientific principles and describe applications of different types of therapeutic exercise
- evaluate the reliability and effectiveness of clinical methods used in therapeutic exercise
- critically analyze the research results concerning therapeutic activities and implement them to clinical work
