Learning outcomes

After completion of the course, students will be able to

- describe the theoretical foundations of Disability Studies and Disability Studies in Education

- assess educational structures and special education practices from the perspective of Disability Studies

- apply the principles of Disability Studies in the design of accessible pedagogical practices

- present ways to influence disability perceptions of professionals and children and youth
